EMS has been expecting a progressively slowing of the global economy since the beginning of 2018, approaching it accordingly with new products, innovative applications and global efficiency programmes. The award in the field of sanitary applications confirms the success of this approach. Furthermore, 470 efficiency measures are being implemented globally within the EMS Group, which will achieve their full effectivity during 2019.

EMS is confident with regard to development of its own business. The successful strategy of growth with speciality products in the area of High Performance Polymers will be continued as well as innovative products and solutions being rapidly introduced into the markets.
