The news agency Keystone-SDA reported today that the global automotive industry is suffering from persistent weakness and that vehicle production is expected to develop flatly in 2026 as well. Production cuts also of electric vehicles were reported.
The EMS Group notes that global vehicle production grew by +3.2% in 2025, and that growth of +1.8% is forecasted for 2026. Electric vehicle production worldwide increased by 28% in 2025. (Source: GlobalData)
