GRILON are technical fibers and fusible bonding fibers. EMS-GRILTECH focuses on the production of technical low melt fibers made from copolyamides and copolyesters, bicomponent fibers and polyamide fibers e.g. for the paper machine industry or abrasives. NEXYLON are high performance PA66 fibers which are processed to high quality nonwovens and spun yarns. Important applications are technical textiles, flame-resistant protective clothing as well as work-wear and uniforms. NEXYLENE is a high performance fiber for hot gas filtration made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS).
EMS-GRILTECH offers the biggest portfolio of thermoplastic adhesive products for technical and textile bonding applications, which are well–known in the market under the trade name GRILTEX. GRILTEX Adhesives have become established for coating and lamination of technical textiles and apparel interlining in accordance with regulatory agreements and certificates as Oeko Tex®, and are successfully used in many different applications as Packaging, Building and Construction, Automobile or medical equipment. GRILTEX products are available as granules, as powders in a range of different particle sizes or as suspension.
With NEXYLON FR, EMS-GRILTECH brings the world's first flame-retardant polyamide fiber onto the market. Using this fiber, the working life of flame-resistant protective work clothing can be significantly increased and the wearing comfort is also much higher. Additional interesting applications include carpets.
Our highly flexible GRILTEX copolyesters are suitable for textiles with soft touch as well as for technical applications with high bonding requirements. These copolyesters are available in a melting range from 100-150°C.
